Overview
We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The position offers an hourly wage of $12.95 to $15.95 per hour, with the potential to earn additional commission on top of the base rate. Our commission structure is easily achievable and pays you for every transaction you process. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8 % on transactions, which could average an additional $1.36 per hour on top of your hourly rate. Perks and Benefits

The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This full‑time position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked, and well‑displayed sales floor. Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items securely. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers. Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Flexibility to work in multiple locations as needed. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan Information
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8 % commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance.
