
Carpentry Builder

We currently have an opening for a Carpentry Builder in our Troy, Ohio location. Starting pay is $18.50 plus $1.00 shift differential. Wage increases up to $26.30 after 24 months.
Shift Schedule: 2nd shift – Monday through Friday – 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Responsibilities
Assemble garage doors using hand tools, power tools, and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Apply appropriate identifying labels to doors and/or boxes where required.
Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that don’t meet quality specifications.
Keep area and equipment clean and well maintained.
Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; able to lift 30–50 lbs and work at a quick pace.
Carpentry experience is required.
Basic knowledge of hardware required for various door models.
Ability to read and write a limited number of words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
Ability to count and perform simple math operations to determine information such as weight, temperature, and quantity.
Ability to meet production and quality standards.
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
