We are more than just a Parts Store and are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA
Counter Sales associate , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be an expert in tearing down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full- or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Assisting team members with customer inquiries using your parts knowledge
Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
Maintaining a customer-focused and energetic store environment
Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with vehicles
Are eager to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Want to grow your career in a supportive environment
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Preferences (Not Required)
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries
Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications
