Counter Sales , you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. No need to be an expert in tearing down or rebuilding engines, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you're considering a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, seeking full or part-time work, or just exploring your options with us. What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone. Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge. Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions. Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores. Welcoming retail customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Using technology (computer, cash register, telephone, catalog system). This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions. Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with or repairing vehicles. Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you're new to the field. Want to grow your career within a team that values development and opportunities. What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school education is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Good listening skills and empathy for customers. Additional Preferences (Not a Deal Breaker)
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership work. Experience in auto body, collision repair, or retail stores. Knowledge of inventory management or cataloging systems. Customer-centric attitude. ASE Certifications. What’s In It For You
