Floor Associate Responsibilities
Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks.
Stock all warehouse, drop ship, and back stock inventory.
Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by the manager.
Ability to read and explain directions for unfamiliar products.
Customer Service
Customer service is priority one at all times.
Each customer must be greeted with a smile and asked, "What can I help you find today?"
Always walk the customer to all products.
Ensure the customer has everything they need for their project.
Minimum Requirements
Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects is a plus.
Minimum 1-3 years retail experience is a plus.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements: Ability to use a scanner and POS keyboard; see and read product labels; manual dexterity with registers, computers, and assembly; stand for extended periods; bend, climb, twist; retrieve, stock, move product; lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
