Responsibilities
Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks
Stock all warehouse, drop ship, and back stock inventory
Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by manager
Ability to read and explain directions for unfamiliar products
Customer service is priority one at all times
Each customer must be greeted with a smile and asked, "What can I help you find today?"
Always walk the customer to all products
Make certain the customer has everything they need for their project
Must be available to work on at least one day of the weekend, 16-28 hours per week
Qualifications
Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects is a plus
Minimum of 1-3 years retail experience is a plus
Willingness and ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
Physical requirements: use a scanner to scan all merchandise and use a Point of Sale keyboard and computer keyboard for all transactions; see and read product labels; communicate with customers; manual dexterity for cash registers, computers, and assembly of some products; quick accurate change; stand extended periods; bend, climb, twist; retrieve, stock, move product; lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
