Inside Counter Sales Associate

Overview
Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative – Colony Hardware, a division of New South Construction Supply. You will help the construction industry and trades reach new heights by being a key contact for customers, processing quotes, entering orders, and offering additional support.
Schedule
7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
This is a 100% fully onsite position located at the branch.
Responsibilities
Work directly with customers to ensure they order the right products and that orders are ready on time.
Provide a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add‑ons, and other support.
Coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders.
Communicate with customers via phone and email, responding to their needs quickly and accurately.
Support operations by pulling orders and packing them as needed.
Fill in where needed through cross‑training in areas such as the warehouse, assisting with pulling orders, cycle counting, operating a forklift, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum 2‑3 years of successful inside sales experience.
Knowledge of building materials and the construction industry, with a plus for concrete, masonry, and/or rebar supplies.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
Knowledge of customer service and order processing systems.
Prior warehousing experience, including operating a forklift.
