Position Description Seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Day Porter to maintain a clean and safe environment at our Waltham, MA site. Responsibilities include performing daily inspections, janitorial duties, and basic building repairs to ensure a hygienic and well‑maintained facility. The role involves cleaning clinical and non‑clinical areas, managing supplies, and supporting general maintenance tasks. This is an on‑site position requiring punctuality and the ability to work independently during assigned shifts.
Required Skills / Education
HS Diploma or equivalent
2–4 years of janitorial experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical environments
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets
Strong customer service skills and communication in English
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in all weather conditions
Basic technical skills including email, report writing, and familiarity with CMMS systems are a plus
