ReStore Associate
Location: Whitehall, PA
Schedule: Wednesdays - Saturdays, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (shifts may vary).
Position Overview The ReStore Associate supports all aspects of ReStore operations - including customer service, sales, donations, warehouse logistics, and merchandising. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment where every day is different. You’ll help drive sales, assist donors, keep the store organized, and represent Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver excellent customer service and uphold store policies and safety standards.
Accurately process sales through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
Price, organize, and merchandise donated goods.
Receive and assess donations, assisting donors both in‑store and at the donation center.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retail and warehouse environment.
Support warehouse logistics including loading/unloading items and moving inventory.
Work independently while demonstrating reliability, initiative, and teamwork.
Serve as a positive ambassador for Habitat Lehigh Valley when interacting with customers, donors, and volunteers.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, home improvement, or a related field.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Reliable, self‑motivated, and adaptable in a fast‑paced setting.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Team player with a professional and friendly attitude.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Passion for Habitat’s mission of affordable housing and community impact.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently (heavier with assistance).
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching on concrete floors.
Comfortable using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other light equipment.
Able to work in a physically active, warehouse‑style retail environment.
