Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, could average an additional $3.56 per hour on top of hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Associates greet, engage, and process sales, loans, and transactions. They handle jewelry and general merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms and more.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
Keeps sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items per policy.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
Partners with all employees to create positive customer experience.
Completes assigned training.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
May be asked to assist customers outside building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
Minimum age 18.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Strong desire to work, serve customers, team‑oriented.
Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment.
Proficient basic math calculations.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work multiple locations on business needs basis.
Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
Additional Information Commission plan is proprietary to FirstCash; potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview.
Payrates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements.
