A leading medical institution is looking for an HR Representative with human resources experience in a complex higher education or hospital HR environment to handle a gamut of HR responsibilities.
HR Representative Qualifications: * 1-3 years of demonstrated customer service experience working in an internal HR, WFA, or benefits environment as a subject matter expert in one functional area. * University experience, or at minimum experience in a complex higher education or hospital HR environment. * Working knowledge in PeopleSoft, Service Now, Visual Vault, and HR Web applications. * Exceptional writing skills to clearly, concisely, and logically articulate ideas, using appropriate editorial style and grammatically correct language; ability to translate technical information and concepts into easily understandable language for a diverse audience. * Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, administrators and co-workers and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members and managers. * Ability to provide world class customer service. * Exception time management skills in setting priorities which accurately reflects relative importance of job responsibilities. * Impeccable attention to detail and thoroughness in work product. * Ability to maintain composure and productivity despite pressing deadlines, frequent interruptions, distractions and competing priorities. * Ability and judgment to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. * Ability to keep abreast of constantly changing university systems, regulations, policies and procedures. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. * Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lb. * Knowledge of university personnel and payroll policies and procedures.
Shift: * 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
