Groundskeeper 1, Intermittent
Responsibilities
Perform routine non-skilled grounds maintenance duties (mow, trim, edge lawns; apply mulch, weed, water lawns & flower beds; trim & prune shrubs & trees; clean grounds, sidewalks & parking lots by removing papers & debris and operating vacuum sweeper/power washer) at district office & rest areas.
Fertilize lawns, trees & shrubs; plant trees, shrubs & other plants; seed & sod lawns.
Pick up & dump garbage/recycle containers.
Clean, repair & paint picnic tables, trash containers & other outdoor minor structures.
Maintain & complete a daily log & work record.
Perform general custodial & maintenance duties.
