Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Transportation: Assist with the safe and timely transport of residents within the facility, including to and from appointments, activities, or dining areas.

Cleaning & Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and designated resident areas by following proper sanitation procedures.

Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste according to health and safety regulations.

Laundry Support: Assist in the collection, delivery, and organization of linens and residents' laundry as required.

Restocking: Monitor and restock essential supplies such as soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and towels in resident and staff areas.

Maintenance Support: Assist with light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow infection control procedures, health and safety policies, and emergency protocols at all times.

Assist with Special Events: Help set up rooms for special events, activities, and family visits, ensuring they are safe and comfortable for attendees.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting or similar role is beneficial but not required.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

A compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly residents.

Physical and Sensory Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.

Ability to read and interpret documents and data on a computer screen and communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders.
