and help create memorable gaming experiences in a fast‑paced retail environment. You’ll support store management, engage customers, and maintain a clean, organized store. Responsibilities
Deliver best‑in‑class guest service: greet guests, answer questions, promote GameStop benefits, and express gratitude for every visit. Support the overall shopping environment: maintain visual merchandising, keep restrooms and fixtures clean, and ensure products are accessible. Process guest purchases and returns accurately via the POS system. Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions promptly and courteously. Promote GameStop’s guest benefits such as the reservation and Pro Rewards programs. Complete Omni‑Channel orders and maintain accurate inventory controls, bank deposits, and closeout procedures. Support store management in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals; supervise and delegate tasks to associates in the absence of management. Qualifications
Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States. At least 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of retail sales, guest service, or management experience (preferred). Video game knowledge preferred. Ability to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store for up to 10 hours per day. Required Job Skills and Abilities
Exceptional guest service skills. Clear verbal and written communication, both in person and on the phone. Fast‑paced, adaptable work style and ability to meet performance expectations. Operate the POS computer system and complete required paperwork. Basic math skills and alphabetizing skills. Self‑motivation and teamwork to complete tasks in a timely manner. Problem solving and judgment abilities. Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Deliver bank deposits following loss prevention safety guidelines. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days/week availability).
