Responsibilities
Telephone and face‑to‑face contact with customers to provide recommendations, price/job quoting, and enter sales orders
Assist with maintaining showroom display of products while keeping track of inventory and replenishing stock as needed
Track open sales orders and process tickets to the CMC billing department while maintaining a cash drawer and processing cash reports
Attend sales meetings, training, and activities; perform additional duties as needed
Prepare sales orders, detailed quotes, and assist with weekly sales reports while maintaining an expense account/cash drawer
Effectively communicate detailed information on products and services to both established and potential customers
Provide detailed product quotes for construction projects
Perform rebar material takeoffs
Understand the scope of work and accurately communicate the information to sales
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with knowledge of construction‑related products preferred
Proficient computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web browsers (Internet Explorer/Chrome)
Decision‑making abilities with excellent verbal and written customer service skills
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment, staying organized and detail‑oriented
Must be able to use a personal vehicle for occasional deliveries
1 or more years of sales experience required; prior knowledge in construction industry a plus
Bilingual Spanish required
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
