Position Overview Holder Construction is seeking a Community & Events Coordinator to support the MNO Data Center Project in Monrovia, Indiana. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on community engagement, local outreach, and event coordination throughout the life of the project. The position works closely with project leadership and Holder’s Business Development and Marketing teams to support strong community relationships and well‑executed events. This is a hands‑on role for an organized, people‑oriented professional comfortable representing a large construction project in a small‑community setting.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as Holder’s local point of contact for community groups, neighbors, schools, chambers, and civic organizations tied to the project.

Plan and execute project‑related events including groundbreakings, milestone events, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and community meetings.

Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, vendors, catering, invitations, and on‑site support in collaboration with project leadership and partners.

Support local communications and outreach efforts, including preparation of light materials and coordination with Holder’s BD/Marketing team.

Track and document community engagements and events, providing summary information to project leadership and the project owner.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in community relations, event coordination, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Strong organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and effectively.

Comfort interacting with the public and representing an active construction project.

Willingness to support evening or weekend events as needed.
