We’re looking for a Social Graphic Designer who thrives in the speed of real-time storytelling and understands how to translate complex sports business narratives into visually compelling, scroll-stopping content.
You’ll be responsible for creating high-impact, social-first graphics that bring Front Office Sports’ journalism to life across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
From breaking news and data-driven storytelling to tentpole moments and premium franchises like FOS Explains, The Come Up, and Second Acts, you’ll design content that informs, engages, and drives conversation.
You’ll work closely with our social, editorial, and video teams to ensure every visual feels sharp, timely, and unmistakably FOS.
Key Responsibilities
Design in Real-Time: Create breaking news graphics, data visualizations, and storytelling assets tied to the biggest moments in sports, business, and culture
Own the Social Feed: Produce platform-native graphics optimized for Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn—balancing speed with premium execution
Elevate Storytelling Through Design: Translate reporting, stats, and business insights into compelling visual narratives that drive shares, saves, and engagement
Support Tentpole Coverage: Contribute to major events (Super Bowl, NBA Finals, March Madness, World Cup, etc.) with real-time and pre-planned graphic packages
Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with producers, editors, and social leads to concept and execute content that aligns with FOS franchises and voice
Maintain Brand Excellence: Ensure consistency across typography, color, layout, and visual identity—while continuing to evolve and push the FOS aesthetic forward
Innovate for Growth: Monitor trends, test new formats, and bring fresh ideas that expand reach, improve engagement, and strengthen our visual identity
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
A designer with editorial instincts—you don’t just make things look good, you understand what makes people stop scrolling
Deeply plugged into sports, business, and culture, with a strong pulse on daily storylines across leagues, athletes, and media
Obsessed with detail and craft—from kerning and composition to logo usage and brand consistency
Fluent across platforms—you understand how design shifts between Instagram carousels, TikTok overlays, and X graphics
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, real-time environment, including nights and weekends around major events
A strong collaborator who can take feedback and iterate quickly
