Must have a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Job Description The Senior Engineer is responsible for solving complex engineering problems within their area of specialization, operating with limited supervision. This role requires advanced technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of challenging and varied assignments. The Senior Engineer plays a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions while supporting project teams and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities Apply advanced engineering principles, methods, and techniques to solve complex technical problems Lead or support the design, analysis, and execution of engineering projects within the assigned discipline Develop calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documents Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, and deliverables for accuracy and compliance Identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, construction, and operations Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities Participate in client meetings and provide technical input as needed Continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies within the discipline
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required Minimum of
10 years
of relevant discipline experience Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards Proven ability to manage and execute complex technical assignments with minimal supervision Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience in large-scale or high-risk projects Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools Previous experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
