The position of Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for providing rental and sales support to Territory Managers (TM), other business partners, as well as customers directly. The ISR will work cooperatively to develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships and help to achieve superior customer satisfaction with Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) customers. The key role of the ISR is to determine the best solution(s) for the customer, develop quotations, follow-up, enter the order and support the logistics through successful delivery to the customer. This is done with the support and guidance of the TM and other team members. Success in this role is based upon exceeding the sales quota for your team, growing existing customer business and building relationships with new customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Learn and master operational procedures while being change and detail oriented Communicate with business partners to ensure proper rental and sales administration tasks are being completed accurately; and quality customer service is provided Ensure that all requests for quotes and sales are processed accurately and completely, all customers are promptly followed-up with at inception of quote request, and are kept apprised of the process during and after the rental or sale Monitor email messages and company telephone to qualify, and manage quotes, rentals, and sales Utilize technological tools to track data to decrease speed to quote times Capitalize on all opportunities and diligently log all activity Contact vendors and CTOS locations nationwide for shipping quotes and shipping of rental units and items that have been sold to customers Learn and master the CTOS Parts Tools and Accessories OEM product line Assist customers by cross-selling, up-selling, substitution of products, and appropriate add-ons Required Skills and Qualifications Communication skills Ability to communicate with others who have inquiries about CTOS, and be able to exchange accurate information Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal and business level communication capabilities Take the time to understand points made by business partners and customers, asking questions as appropriate Monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements Communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience Bachelor's degree helpful, will consider any qualified candidates Preferred Skills and Qualifications Ability to learn and comprehend technical material Computer and smartphone proficiency including the MS Office Suite primarily Outlook, Teams, and especially Excel and, as well as Salesforce Ability to work with mathematical concepts, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions 3+ Years of utility industry products and services including tooling and safety equipment, or related industry rental/sales experience preferred (willing to train the right individual) Power Distribution industry and sales experience preferred Working Conditions Able to work as scheduled with punctual attendance 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, taking into consideration multiple time zones, Monday-Friday plus additional hours/days necessary to meet business demands, especially during storm season(s) Constantly operates a computer, phone, copy machine, laptop, mobile device, and printer, etc. Ability to travel with overnight stays during training, meetings, shows and other events as needed Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, and walking Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds. xsgimln Benefits 401(k) with Employer Match Competitive Health Care Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Vacation, Sick and Holidays STD/ LTD Partner Discounts Investment in Employee Development Tuition Reimbursement Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Custom Truck One Source provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
