Overview Coyne PR is seeking an Analyst to join its Analytics + Intelligence Group, with a primary focus on advancing the agency’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) capabilities. This role centers on understanding, measuring and improving how brands are discovered, interpreted and recommended within AI-driven platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and other large language models. As search behavior rapidly shifts toward generative experiences, this role will be instrumental in helping clients win visibility in AI-generated outputs. The Analyst will lead efforts to evaluate brand presence within LLMs, uncover the drivers of AI visibility and translate insights into actionable communications strategies. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the forefront of a new communications discipline, helping define how brands show up in an AI-first landscape. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, strategic thinking and a deep curiosity about how AI is transforming discovery, influence and reputation.

Key Responsibilities Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) – Core Focus Analyze and measure brand presence across leading AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) Evaluate LLM-generated responses for: Inclusion frequency and consistency Source attribution and citation patterns Competitive positioning within responses Accuracy, sentiment and message pull-through Conduct structured prompt and query analysis to understand how brands surface across different AI contexts Identify gaps in authority signals, content ecosystems and messaging that impact AI visibility Develop clear, actionable recommendations to improve brand inclusion, credibility and prominence in AI-generated outputs AI Visibility Strategy & Application Translate GEO insights into strategic recommendations that inform: Content strategy and development Messaging architecture Earned media and thought leadership programs Digital authority and credibility building Partner with account teams to embed GEO principles into campaign planning and execution Help shape integrated strategies that align traditional media, search and AI discovery Measurement & Analytics Design and execute measurement frameworks specific to GEO and AI visibility Track and analyze performance across: AI platforms (primary focus) Search ecosystems (supporting) Earned and social media (as inputs into AI visibility) Identify trends, correlations and drivers that influence brand inclusion in LLM outputs Build reporting systems that clearly communicate GEO performance and impact GEO Methodology Development Contribute to the evolution of Coyne PR’s GEO frameworks, tools and best practices Support the development of repeatable approaches for: AI visibility audits Prompt testing methodologies Competitive benchmarking in LLM environments Stay current on advancements in AI platforms and evolving discovery behaviors Project Leadership & Execution Lead GEO-focused audits, analyses and reporting initiatives Develop client-ready deliverables including reports, dashboards and presentations Manage multiple workstreams related to AI visibility and analytics Team Development Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members Help upskill the team on GEO concepts, tools and methodologies

Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics, digital strategy, SEO or marketing intelligence Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations Hands-on experience with AI tools and LLM platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) strongly preferred Experience with: Search and SEO platforms Social listening and media measurement tools Website and campaign analytics Strong understanding of how content, authority and credibility influence discoverability Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications Experience in an agency environment Familiarity with emerging AI discovery ecosystems and their impact on brand visibility Understanding of how earned media, content and digital signals influence LLM outputs Strong interest in AI, search evolution and the future of communications
