Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Role Overview
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is responsible for establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment workflows, and ensuring stability across multi-tenant Salesforce environments. This role supports governance, scalability, and release management across multiple agencies within the Salesforce CoE.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines. Manage Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and version control strategies (Git, branching models). Establish automated deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows. Coordinate sandbox refresh schedules and data seeding processes. Automate deployment approvals aligned with Salesforce CoE governance and Architecture Review Board processes. Manage metadata, packages, and release artifacts for multi-agency environments. Support tenant management and data isolation strategies. Integrate automated unit, integration, and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with QA teams and Solution Architects to develop reusable testing frameworks. Track and report release metrics such as defect rates, deployment success/failure, and deployment duration. Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Salesforce Shield). Work closely with Solution Architects and Development teams. Provide release readiness documentation, training materials, and operational handbooks. Mentor junior DevOps engineers during CoE scaling initiatives. Mandatory Qualifications

of experience working on complex projects, including
at least 2 years
in a leadership role as a DevOps Engineer. More than
7 years
of DevOps experience specifically on the Salesforce platform. Desirable Qualifications
2+ years of experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages. 2+ years of experience with Git, YAML, and CI/CD pipeline scripting. 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Security, Shield Encryption, and SSO configuration.
