Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Copado DevOps Engineer to manage and streamline release management and CI/CD processes across Salesforce environments. The role focuses on implementing DevOps best practices, automating deployments, and ensuring efficient release cycles using Copado. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce platform development, Copado release management, and DevOps automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and manage the end-to-end Salesforce release management process using Copado.
• Plan and execute release cycles including sandbox refreshes, production deployments, and emergency hotfixes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery within Salesforce environments.
• Administer Copado pipelines, user stories, deployment packages, and version control strategies.
• Manage Salesforce environments including development, UAT, staging, pre-production, and production.
• Configure and manage Git-based version control including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
• Automate deployment and release processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor deployment processes, troubleshoot release issues, and coordinate with development and QA teams for resolution.
• Implement and enforce change management and governance processes for Salesforce deployments.
• Maintain release documentation including deployment guides, logs, audit trails, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
• Continuously optimize deployment workflows and identify automation opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 8+ years of experience working with Salesforce in DevOps, release engineering, or platform engineering roles.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Copado for Salesforce release management.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform including Apex, triggers, flows, and custom objects.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems and branching strategies.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, release management, and automation frameworks.
• Experience managing Salesforce sandbox environments and test data management.
• Experience implementing data masking or anonymization processes for development environments.
• Strong experience working in Agile development environments.
