What Youll Do:
Manage food production, menus, purchasing, inventory, portion control, and budget oversight. Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate dining services staff to ensure efficient and consistent operations. Create a positive and welcoming dining experience by addressing resident concerns and supporting special events. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper upkeep of the dining room. Maintain accurate records, monitor expenses, oversee equipment maintenance, and support overall community goals. Support dining service as needed, including taking orders and assisting guests. Monitor labor and adjust staffing to meet financial goals. Foster a positive team environment and motivate staff.
What Youll Need:
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED, required Culinary or Hospitality degree, preferred 10 years food service management experience, required Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance Ability to stand for a long period of time Compassionate, ethical, and friendly demeanor when working with residents, families, and team members
