Job Description
Our client is seeking an Account Executive to support growth within their packaging solutions division. This role focuses on developing new business and managing existing accounts by working closely with customers to understand their packaging needs and deliver effective, tailored solutions. The position involves regular client interaction, both on-site and remote, within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across various industries requiring packaging solutions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the packaging and materials space
- Conduct client meetings to evaluate packaging needs, processes, and opportunities for improvement
- Present customized solutions, proposals, and cost-saving initiatives
- Negotiate pricing and terms while driving profitable growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and territory goals
- Stay current on packaging trends, materials, and market developments
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, preferably within packaging, manufacturing, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of customer-facing sales and solution-based selling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage a territory and work independently
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business tools
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
