We’re Looking For A(n): Innovation Brand Manager Location

Hybrid (El Segundo, CA and/or Burbank/North Hollywood, CA) What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a highly strategic and entrepreneurial Innovation Brand Manager to lead the development and launch of new products and brands within our growing pet food portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior, high-visibility role with significant autonomy and ownership. This individual will operate like a “founder within the company,” responsible for identifying opportunities, developing innovative product concepts, and bringing them to market. The ideal candidate combines strong brand instincts with hands-on product development experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), particularly in consumable categories. Lead end-to-end innovation for new product lines—from concept ideation through commercialization Identify whitespace opportunities through consumer insights, trends, and competitive analysis Develop compelling brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies Partner cross-functionally with R&D, operations, supply chain, and external partners to bring products to life Manage product development timelines, budgets, and key milestones Own packaging, pricing strategy, and product architecture decisions Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure strong market entry and sustained growth Continuously evaluate product performance and iterate based on data and consumer feedback Qualifications

Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes. 5–8+ years of experience in brand management, innovation, or product development within CPG Strong experience in consumable goods (e.g., food, beverage, supplements, or similar categories) Proven track record of launching new products from concept to market Highly strategic thinker with the ability to execute and operate independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills Excellent communication and storytelling abilities Required Education: Bachelor’s degree Required Experience: 5+ years Preferred Experience: 7+ years Golden Perks & Benefits

The base salary range is $104,000-$130,000, plus bonus potential. The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis.
