Company Revolution Engineering, Inc. is a team of engineers based in Las Vegas, NV, dedicated to producing timely designs that facilitate obtaining loans and permits for our clients.
Role Revolution Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the design and delivery of multifamily projects. This role is responsible for developing HVAC and plumbing systems from early design through permit, with a focus on meeting deadlines, maintaining quality, and coordinating effectively with internal and external teams.
The Mechanical Designer will perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts, while producing and maintaining Revit models and construction documents. This role requires the ability to work with limited oversight, manage multiple projects concurrently, and proactively identify and resolve design and coordination issues.
The position is hybrid for candidates located in Las Vegas, NV, and fully remote for candidates outside the area.
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience in mechanical system design, preferably on multifamily or similar project types
Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through permit
Proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD experience a plus
Working knowledge of load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout
Familiarity with applicable codes (IMC, IPC, IECC, local jurisdictions)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a production environment
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Clear written and verbal communication skills
EIT preferred; but not required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; but not required
