Responsibilities
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and high effectiveness across Nium’s market‑leading propositions, including banking, financial services, cards, e‑commerce, and payments.
Identify, secure, and manage relationships with clients across the Americas, focusing on retail financial institutions.
Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding pre‑agreed targets on customer flows, revenues, and profitability.
Generate sales leads, negotiate, and close transactions, consistently outperforming past performance metrics.
Apply consultative selling skills with result orientation to achieve financial and customer satisfaction goals.
Proactively hunt for opportunities in the marketplace through direct contact and partner channels.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to generate qualified opportunities, map accounts, influence decision‑makers, align value propositions with client needs, and close deals.
Requirements
10+ years of proven track record in business development or sales within Payments, E‑Commerce, Cards, Financial Services, FinTech, or Banking Go‑to‑Market in North America.
Strong record of exceeding commercial targets in prior sales roles.
Ability to independently source deals in regional financial institutions and create a healthy sales pipeline.
Commercially focused and pragmatic, capable of identifying opportunities and proposing solutions.
Empathetic approach to client engagement, effectively acting as a problem‑solver.
Data‑driven and analytical mindset.
Results‑oriented, client‑focused, and obsessed with delivering value.
Self‑motivated, adept at working both independently and as part of a global team.
