A great UHY client is seeking a
Tax Analyst
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, preferably directly from public accounting, as well as solid tax compliance experience.
The
Tax Analyst
position is a hybrid position. This is a client direct hire position.
Tax Analyst Key Responsibilities
Prepare book-to-tax differences for tax provision and tax return purposes.
Prepare tax return workpapers and assist with federal, state, and informational tax filings.
Reconcile income tax accounts and support related documentation.
Maintain tax records and documentation, including internal control support.
Research federal and state income tax matters.
Support additional tax-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Tax Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with effective communication skills.
Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow.
CPA or CPA-eligible.
Experience with tax software applications.
