As a Product Manager, Vice President in J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Marketing, Digital Experiences, you will own a critical domain in the digital experience for Financial Advisor, with a primary focus on advisor tools for portfolio construction and retirement planning, while defining end‑to‑end journeys that bring the depth and breadth of firm resources (e.g. email, web, and client portals). You will proactively monitor Financial Advisor and investment product trends, platform ecosystems, and regulatory changes to anticipate Financial Advisor and Asset Manager needs, translating insights into prioritized, compliant, high‑impact experiences. You will apply managed investment products knowledge and expertise with the data to drive qualitative outcomes, foundational data alignment, process efficiency, compliant platform capabilities, and impactful advisor due diligence workflows. You will operate within a global scope with a primary focus on the US, partnering closely across Technology, Data & Analytics, Marketing, Sales/Distribution, Servicing, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Brand, and Content & Insights.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Leverage deep expertise in investment data (Morningstar), investment structures by region, share classes, and vehicle types to inform product decisions, data models, and calculation logic that power advisor tools and experiences
Align cross‑functional partners on problem statements, outcomes, and trade‑offs through crisp narratives and decision documents, facilitating rollout strategy, and communications to drive adoption
Ensure adoption of UX, accessibility, and performance standards while evolving advisor workflows (proposal, portfolio review) to reduce friction and improve time‑to‑value
Run structured research to inform roadmap decisions and enhance product experience, defining OKRs, analytics measurement, and data requirements while establishing dashboards and reporting rhythms
Partner with Compliance and Legal on review cycles, maintaining audit readiness for domain artifacts and decision logs. Facilitate execution of agile principles in domain delivery across cross‑functional teams with risk and controls
Identify, research, and define compliant platform enhancements including disclosures, monitoring, suitability checks, and reporting compliant with SEC and FINRA rules
Integrate advisor tools across the ecosystem (web, email, portal) with CRM, SSO, analytics, and personalization capabilities, contributing to global standards for data, calculations, and reliability
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Domain expertise in investment data and analytics: deep knowledge of managed product performance and risk metrics, qualitative characteristics, factor models/exposures, and scenario/stress‑test sensitivities
Expertise in Advisor due diligence & portfolio construction: former Financial Advisor experience or deep understanding of advisor decision‑making across mutual funds, ETFs, private alternatives, retail SMAs, models, and retirement investments
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, data, and analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Product management strengths: Operating model and governance, OKR‑driven execution, and mixed‑methods research
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Industry depth: Asset Management or Wealth Management; competitive product messaging; experience with retirement plan ecosystems.
Global scope: Launched/adapted products across multiple regions and regulatory contexts
Portfolio analytics: Familiarity with market insights and portfolio optimization techniques
Compliance/regulatory familiarity: track record partnering with Compliance/Legal and identifying areas of risk and disclosure requirements.
Credentials: CFA, CIMA, FRM, or similar
