What You’ll Do RFG Advisory is redefining Advisor marketing, and we’re looking for a data-driven digital marketer who can help us elevate how our Advisors grow.

Please note:

Prior experience in financial services or a regulated industry is preferred.

Location This role can be in our Birmingham office or remote.

If in Birmingham, AL, our office works a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote).

If remote, occasional travel to Birmingham will be required including onboarding.

Advisor Growth Partnership

Collaborate with Advisors to translate business goals into growth strategies through proactive planning, strategic support, and service implementation.

Recommend data-backed marketing approaches tailored to Advisor audiences.

Serve as a trusted resource on automation, campaign performance, and digital best practices.

Help Advisors understand not just what happened, but why.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with design, content, compliance, and web/development teams to enhance digital experiences.

Operate in a sprint-based or structured workflow environment to manage projects effectively.

Continuously refine internal marketing systems and processes.

Digital Strategy & Optimization

Partner with internal teams to create landing pages, digital journeys, and enhance user experience.

Analyze Advisor marketing performance across email, web, and digital campaigns using GA4, HubSpot, FMG, and reporting tools.

Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, engagement, and Advisor growth through testing and optimization.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Architecture

Design and optimize automated marketing workflows (email journeys, nurture sequences, segmentation strategies).

Lead A/B testing initiatives across subject lines, content, and landing experiences.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders improve list hygiene, segmentation logic, and campaign structure to maximize engagement.

Support CRM and marketing platform optimization to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements What You Bring

5+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or performance marketing

Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)

Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar reporting tools

Experience with HubSpot

Comfort analyzing performance data and making strategic recommendations

Understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization

Experience collaborating with web or development teams on UX enhancements

Strong project management skills in structured or Agile environments

Strong communication and customer engagement acumen

Bonus Points

Financial services, RIA, or regulated industry experience

Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email or landing page optimization

Experience building dashboards or working with SQL

Familiarity with compliance review workflows

Proficiency in Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite, or related creative skills

AI & Automation Capability

Leverages AI and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity, quality, analysis, and communication.

Actively identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance client and business outcomes.
