None/Not Required The Digital Technology (DT) Finance Director is a strategic position that serves as a critical business partner, influencing DT strategy and execution. This position provides financial leadership and oversight of the DT functional organization for a $430M overhead budget, a $692M ES Brochure, $85M in capital, and 6 Direct Pools. It requires working across directorates and functions and demonstrates the ability to influence others through ambiguity. The role drives effective forecasting, including quarterly EACs, AOP, and LRP, and evaluates potential investments, operational strategies, and other financial opportunities to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals. Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders are essential to aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives and maintaining financial credibility. What You Will Do
Lead financial strategy, planning, and operational oversight for the DT functional organization, serving as a critical business partner to DT leadership and adjacent directorates. Manage and govern a ~$430M overhead budget, ~$690M ES Brochure, ~$85M Capital, and 6 direct pools; ensure accurate allocation, rate integrity, and alignment to strategic priorities. Lead the quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, annual operating plan (AOP), and long-range plan (LRP), delivering timely, high-quality forecasts and variance analyses that inform decision making. Assess potential investments, technology initiatives, and operational options using robust financial models (NPV/IRR, sensitivity/scenario analysis) to prioritize funding and ensure returns align with strategic goals. Work across directorates and functions to synthesize incomplete data, frame trade-offs, and influence outcomes; drive clarity and action in fluid, evolving environments. Shape the indirect budget and expense profile for Raytheon’s DT footprint; partner with controllership and functional leaders to set rates, monitor absorption, and mitigate cost risk. Lead capital planning and portfolio governance for DT (Capex and OPEX), including business case rigor, prioritization, approval forums, and post-investment performance tracking. Establish and track cost productivity targets; identify levers for efficiency and drive corrective actions on variances. Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements; uphold financial credibility with transparent assumptions, disciplined documentation, and high data integrity. Deliver clear, concise, and actionable financial narratives to senior stakeholders; prepare materials for monthly/quarterly business reviews, investment councils, and executive forums. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team; set objectives, build capabilities (forecasting discipline, analytics, digital tools), and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support ad-hoc company projects and finance transformation initiatives. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 14 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
