
Western Regional Sales Specialist

About The Role
This position will be responsible for selling, training, and merchandising Harman Mobile Aftermarket products in an assigned region. The role will work closely with the Director of Aftermarket and aftermarket team to identify target dealers, grow existing business, and sign up new accounts. The position will be based in the western region in a major city with airport access.
What You Will Do
Work closely with the Mobile Audio Director to identify target independent specialists, key retailers, and distributors.
Deliver product‑ and business‑oriented presentations and demonstrations to targeted dealers to finalize sales.
Develop direct relationships with new and current dealers and serve as the Harman Car Audio expert.
Help create and execute sales and business presentations and demonstrations.
Assist in the development of product and sales training presentations on all Harman mobile aftermarket product lines.
Conduct training sessions with dealers, rep companies, and distributors about the consumer benefits of Harman brands and products.
Represent Harman at dealer events, trade shows, and corporate events as directed.
Have complete understanding of Harman’s car aftermarket audio brands and products.
Support new product launches.
What You Need To Be Successful
5+ years of experience in the car audio industry.
Experience in regional or national sales.
Awareness of competition and how Harman’s brands fit into the market.
High school diploma or related experience.
Deep knowledge of car audio industry, products, and their applications.
Knowledge of the business operation of independent retailers.
Bonus Points if You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related experience.
Retail management experience with emphasis on training ability and selling skills.
Strong technical skills with emphasis on aftermarket consumer electronics.
Friendly and tenacious attitude.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and people skills.
What Makes You Eligible
Willingness to travel when necessary.
Valid driver’s license.
Residence in a major city near a national airport.
Flexibility in working hours as required by global infrastructure.
Successful completion of background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Alternate work location: U.S. home office – Mississippi, Arizona, or Colorado.

Pay Transparency Pay range: $84,750 – $124,300. Depending on the position offered, additional compensation such as bonuses or commission may be available. Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. The paid range is not adjusted for geographical differentials associated with where the position may be filled.
