Growth Marketing Manager

District Management Group, Boston, MA, United States


LOCATION DMGroup’s headquarters are located in Boston, MA. This role will be expected to report to the Boston office on a regular basis, with flexibility to work from home up to two days a week based on schedule and team needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Our ultimate goal is to increase the number of qualified marketing leads through various channels and grow DMG’s brand recognition.

Marketing strategy:

Develop marketing strategy, including identifying key customers and channels to focus on, to grow top of funnel and increase MQL to SQL conversion

Campaign execution:

Build, test, and deploy targeted email outreach and automated follow-up sequences

Reporting:

Analyze the performance of outreach efforts, providing weekly updates on open rates, CTRs, and conversion metrics and developing actionable recommendations

Website management and optimization:

Own SEO optimization strategy and execution and maintain website with latest event information and knowledge pieces

Content and copy:

Draft high-quality marketing copy for emails and landing pages that resonates with education professionals while being to-the-point and interesting

Funding research:

Support the leadership team by monitoring state and federal education funding updates to identify new lead opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate should have/be able to:

Degree:

Bachelor’s preferred

3-5 years of marketing experience:

Background in marketing execution and strategy

Owner’s mindset:

Proactive ownership; in addition to task execution, you think ahead to anticipate risks, share ideas, and take responsibility for and have pride in your work

Detail orientation:

Ability to make sure all components of a campaign are thoroughly prepared (e.g. copy, recipient lists, timeliness of sends, etc.)

Technical aptitude:

Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot), email marketing platforms / reporting capabilities, and leading AI tools to enable effective work

Strong writing skills:

Strong command of the English language and grammar with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences

Interest in K-12 education:

Passion for education and desire to make an impact (prior experience not required)
