Role Summary and Impact As the Alliances Director you will manage and operationalise WPP Media’s most strategic technology partnerships (e.g., Google, Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft). You will be the connective tissue between partners, WPP Media’s agencies, and Choreograph’s internal consulting and sales functions, turning strategic goals into action and creating value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day‑to‑day strategic relationship with key technology partners, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment.
Drive co‑selling and go‑to‑market initiatives by collaborating with Choreograph’s consulting, data strategy, analytics, and WPP Media client teams.
Perform strategic account mapping to identify and unlock new high‑potential joint opportunities.
Own communication and documentation of partnership impact, developing compelling narratives, data‑driven reports, and case studies.
Lead collaborative marketing efforts with partner marketing teams, orchestrating campaigns, industry events, and thought‑leadership initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and surface new opportunities for innovation and growth within the AI landscape.
Empower regional teams across WPP and Choreograph with training, resources, and strategic guidance.
Monitor, analyse, and report on partnership KPIs, recommending data‑driven improvements.
Skills and Experience
5‑7+ years in partnership development, channel relationship management, or alliance management, ideally in AdTech, MarTech, or cloud technology.
Proven experience with major technology platforms such as Google, Adobe, Salesforce, or Microsoft.
Deep understanding of the digital and AI landscape and its application to data enablement.
Experience in partnership operations, managing funding programs, partner marketing initiatives, and ensuring compliance.
Exceptional relationship‑building skills, acting as the connective tissue fostering trust and collaboration.
Success in identifying joint opportunities through strategic account mapping and account executive collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, translating complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
Proactive, detail‑oriented self‑starter comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong reporting and problem‑solving abilities, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Experience in consultative selling support or sales enablement is a significant plus.
