As we scale aggressively across domestic, international, and digital channels, we are investing in a best-in‑class affiliate ecosystem – and seeking a leader to build and scale it.

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Affiliate Relations is a senior, systems-minded leader responsible for building and scaling SKINN’s affiliate program across TikTok Shop, Meta, and emerging creator commerce platforms. This role owns the full affiliate lifecycle – from acquisition and onboarding to activation, content management, performance optimization, retention, and compensation.

This role requires both the process discipline to scale without burning out the team, and the commercial credibility and relationship instincts that make top creators want to stay and grow with the brand. The right candidate has designed and scaled affiliate systems before – tiered onboarding flows, content tracking frameworks, performance reporting dashboards, compensation structures, and retention programs.

At maturity, SKINN's affiliate program will include a vast variety of creators across multiple tiers and platforms. The Director of Affiliate Relations will build the systems that make that scale possible and use AI to ensure human attention goes exactly where it should.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and own the end-to-end affiliate infrastructure, including acquisition pipelines, tiered onboarding flows, activation sequences, content tracking, performance reporting, and retention strategies

Build scalable, repeatable processes that maintain a high-quality creator experience

Define and manage affiliate tiers – from long-tail micro‑creators to VIP partners and agency partners – with differentiated support models

Establish program governance, standards, and operating procedures across all affiliate channels

Acquisition & Onboarding

Develop and execute affiliate acquisition strategy (TikTok Shop, Meta, and beyond)

Build onboarding systems that efficiently ramp new affiliates into high-performing, on-brand content production

Create and maintain onboarding materials, training assets, quick-start guides, and brand education resources

Performance Management & Monetization

Own affiliate performance analytics: define KPIs, build reporting cadences, and translate data into program decisions

Design and manage compensation structures, commission tiers, and performance incentives aligned to business objectives

Identify opportunities to increase affiliate-driven revenue through activation, optimization, and upsell strategies

Contracts, Negotiations & Commercial Partnerships

Lead contract negotiations with top creators, agency partners, and high-value affiliates – including rate-setting, exclusivity terms, deliverable scoping, and paid partnership agreements

Manage content buyout and licensing agreements in coordination with legal and brand teams

Serve as the senior commercial point of contact for VIP affiliate relationships and agency negotiations

Content & Campaign Operations

Oversee affiliate content management: usage rights tracking, licensing documentation, and approval workflows

Partner with marketing and creative teams to ensure affiliates are equipped with briefing materials, talking points, visual assets, and brand standards ahead of campaigns and live selling events

Support major product launches and promotions through coordinated affiliate activation

AI & Systems Thinking

Leverage AI tools to automate workflows, enhance productivity, and scale affiliate support operations efficiently

Continuously identify opportunities to shift manual processes into systems – freeing the team to focus on relationships, judgment, negotiation, and creative decisions

Champion an AI-first mindset across the affiliate team

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build, manage, and develop the affiliate team as the program grows

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, e-commerce, product, operations, and legal to align the affiliate program with broader business objectives

Deliver executive-level reporting on program performance, pipeline, and strategic priorities

QUALIFICATIONS Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent work experience

6+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer/creator partnerships, or creator commerce, including 3+ years in a leadership role

Proven success building and scaling affiliate systems – not just managing relationships

Direct experience with TikTok Shop; Meta affiliate experience strongly preferred

Strong negotiation and commercial partnership management experience with creators and agencies

Hands‑on experience with CRM and affiliate platforms

Analytical mindset and experience building and owning performance reporting

Genuine curiosity about AI and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow, productivity, or program outcomes

Preferred

Beauty, personal care, or consumer products industry experience

Compensation:

$130,000 (DOE)
