Job Overview
The Senior SEO Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of organic search at T‑Mobile. This role goes beyond traditional SEO execution; it focuses on driving enterprise‑level growth, influencing product and technology priorities, and preparing our digital ecosystem for both traditional search and the evolving AI‑driven search landscape. The leader will focus on technical SEO excellence, cross‑platform optimization (web and app), and data‑driven insights to ensure long‑term success in a constantly evolving search environment.
*** This position must be located in Bellevue, WA. The role requires working in a hybrid environment at least three days a week in the office.
What You’ll Do
Lead Technical SEO Strategy
Own and evolve technical SEO roadmaps, ensuring crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site/app architecture are optimized at scale.
Partner with engineering and product teams to influence technical roadmaps and ensure SEO considerations are coordinated early.
Drive cross‑platform SEO efforts, bridging web and app search experiences to improve discoverability and engagement.
Prepare for the Future of Search
Anticipate and adapt to changes in the search landscape, including AI‑driven search experiences.
Develop frameworks and strategies to ensure T‑Mobile remains transparent and competitive across evolving platforms.
Act as an Interpersonal Leader With Vision
Advocate for SEO within the organization, influencing partners and driving awareness of its strategic value.
Help secure resources, funding, and prioritization needed for high‑growth initiatives.
Translate sophisticated SEO concepts into clear, actionable insights for audiences at all levels.
Scale Impact Through Data & Analytics
Define and evolve significant metrics tied to growth, engagement, and conversions, linking SEO outcomes directly to business impact.
Partner with analytics teams to build dashboards and reporting frameworks that highlight opportunities and successes.
Use data‑driven insights to prioritize initiatives and measure the value of SEO investments.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field of Search Engine marketing.
7–10+ years of SEO experience with a focus on technical SEO, ideally for large and sophisticated digital ecosystems.
Experience working in an Enterprise organization preferred.
Strong understanding of web and app ecosystems, including deep expertise in technical architecture, structured data, and performance optimization. ASO experience preferred.
Validated ability to influence cross‑functional team members and secure alignment/resources for large‑scale projects.
Experience preparing for and adapting to AI‑driven changes in search.
Sophisticated analytical skills; proficiency with SEO platforms, Adobe Analytics, GA4, and BI tools (SQL a plus).
Experienced knowledge of SEO tools and platforms.
Project Management ability to run multiple projects in highly matrixed organizations.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain SEO’s impact to both executives and non‑SEO audiences.
A proactive, innovative attitude, with a passion for transforming how organizations leverage search as a strategic growth channel.
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $101,600 – $183,300.
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%.
Benefits Employees in regular, non‑temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year‑end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
