Social Media Content Coordinator
ACHRE, New York, NY, United States
Social Media Content Coordinator (Hudson Valley / NYC)
Part-Time | Hybrid (Remote + In-Person)
About ACHRE ACHRE is a media and lifestyle brand founded by bestselling author and top podcast host Rachel Hollis. We create content, experiences, and products designed to help women build a better life in simple, achievable steps. Our work spans podcasts, video, books, products and live experiences and is rooted in personal development, health, and intentional living.
The Role We’re looking for a Social Media Content Coordinator to help create and consistently execute content across an established lifestyle and personal development brand—including both the founder’s personal platform and the RISE brand. This role is for someone who doesn’t just have ideas—they
follow through and get things done . You’ll work closely with the founder to capture, create, and publish content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. This position is based in the
Hudson Valley or New York City area
(we operate in both) with occasional in-person days for content capture and collaboration.
About the Role This is a hands‑on execution role. It requires someone who can
create content independently
and
edit and repurpose existing long‑form content
(podcasts, YouTube, coaching) into engaging short‑form pieces. You’ll support content across two core areas: The founder’s personal brand (lifestyle, storytelling, day‑to‑day content) and RISE (personal development, wellness, and structured program content). Most days you’ll be working remotely—editing, organizing, and scheduling content. Other days you’ll be in person capturing content or assisting with production. You should be comfortable taking an idea (or raw footage) and turning it into a finished, published piece without needing step‑by‑step direction. If you take pride in being reliable, organized, and someone people can count on to finish what you start, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
Capture and create short‑form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Edit and deliver content on a consistent schedule across both brands
Schedule and publish posts across platforms
Create clean, on‑brand graphics (carousels, quote posts, promotional assets) using tools like Canva, with a strong eye for layout and consistency
Repurpose long‑form content (podcasts, coaching, YouTube, etc.) into social clips
Keep content organized and production moving (nothing falls through the cracks)
Capture footage during in‑person content days or events (Hudson Valley or NYC)
What We’re Looking For
Someone who
loves people
and wants to work on content that helps to inspire and uplift them
Someone who is
highly reliable and follows through
Strong execution skills—you don’t wait to be told every step
Experience creating and editing content
consistently
for social media
Comfortable filming on iPhone and editing with tools like CapCut, Edits, Final Cut, or similar
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple pieces of content at once
Able to shift tone slightly depending on content (lifestyle vs. coaching/personal development)
Good taste and understanding of what performs on social (without chasing every trend)
You Might Be a Great Fit If You…
Are the person people trust to actually get things done
Like checking things off a list and finishing what you start
Enjoy both creative work and the structure of deadlines
Take ownership of your work without needing constant direction
Care about health, personal development, and creating content that helps people
Can balance multiple priorities without getting overwhelmed
Live in (or near) the Hudson Valley or New York City and are available for occasional in‑person collaboration
Logistics Location: Hudson Valley or NYC area
Schedule: 20 hours per week, with some in‑person days (planned in advance)
Compensation:
$40/hour
There is opportunity for this role to grow into a larger position as the brand expands.
