Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Investor Relations to partner closely with the VP of IR in shaping and executing the company’s investor relations strategy. This role will play a key role in the quarterly earnings process, coordinate across Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business units to deliver accurate and timely disclosures, and communicate the company’s performance and long‑term vision. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with exceptional communication and project management skills, thriving in a fast‑paced, highly cross‑functional environment.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the VP of IR to execute the investor communications strategy, long‑term positioning, and financial narrative.
Own and manage the quarterly earnings process, including press releases, earnings call scripts, presentations, Q&A, and other financial disclosures, by sourcing and validating data, partnering with FP&A and business leaders on KPIs, and aligning cross‑functional teams on messaging.
Serve as a key point of contact for equity and debt investors, as well as 15+ sell‑side analysts, enhancing their understanding of the company’s financial results and long‑term strategy.
Coordinate across Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business unit teams to collect, validate, and consolidate data required for earnings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness under tight deadlines while managing cross‑functional dependencies, following up with stakeholders, and driving accountability for deliverables.
Gather, analyze, and summarize internal operating and financial performance (including forecasts, variance analyses, and key performance indicators) to inform external messaging and investor materials.
Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with investors and analysts.
Prepare management with briefing materials, competitive insights, and anticipated Q&A ahead of investor interactions.
Manage third‑party IR vendors and maintain disclosure platforms (including the IR website) to ensure timely, transparent communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
10+ years of related industry experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, and/or investment banking or 8+ years with a Master’s degree.
Understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, financial modeling, SEC reporting requirements, and strong business acumen.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to, collaborate with, and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
Preference for candidates who can be in the office a few days of the week with the ability to be on‑site during earnings periods.
This role could include travel to investor conferences up to 10–20% of time.
Benefits Pay is competitive and based on a number of job‑related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00–$201,960.00 per year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
