Who we're looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Tax Manager to join our team as an individual contributor. This role is ideal for a deeply technical tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you and your teammates will be responsible for Rover’s federal, state, and local income taxes. You are intellectually curious, highly organized, and flexible, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to dive into technical details, while also stepping back to understand the broader business implications.

You’re comfortable working in an environment where processes and calculations are not always fully defined, and you take initiative in building, refining, and scaling them over time. This role offers meaningful ownership and broad exposure across the tax function, providing a strong opportunity to build depth and breadth of experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.
