Position Overview Plastic Surgery Center of Hampton Roads is seeking a
Social Media Content Creator & Social Media Manager
to lead and execute the practice's social media presence. This hybrid
1099 contractor role
will work closely with the corporate marketing team at Inspire Aesthetics Group as well as the practice's leadership team. This position combines
hands‑on content creation with full social media management , including filming procedures, producing engaging short‑form content, managing social media channels, engaging with the online community, and executing targeted advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will help position the practice as a leading destination for aesthetic surgery and treatments through compelling, high‑performing digital content.
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Production
Capture high-quality photo and video content of surgical procedures, treatments, and patient transformations
Film surgeries and procedures professionally while adhering to strict HIPAA and privacy standards
Produce short‑form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Capture behind‑the‑scenes content featuring surgeons, providers, staff, and practice culture
Conduct interviews with providers for social media to highlight expertise and services
Document practice events, community outreach, and educational opportunities
Edit video and photo content using professional editing software
Maintain organized media libraries and digital assets for efficient workflow
Social Media Management
Manage and maintain social media profiles for the practice and providers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with the practice's marketing strategy
Create engaging posts multiple times per week using video, photography, and graphics
Coordinate with staff and providers to capture before‑and‑after patient imagery in compliance with privacy standards
Community Engagement & Reputation Management
Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, and social media inquiries
Engage with followers to build a strong and interactive online community
Monitor social mentions and user‑generated content and obtain permissions when appropriate
Monitor and respond to online reviews to maintain a professional and positive reputation
Social Media Advertising
Develop and manage targeted advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta and TikTok
Boost high‑performing posts to increase reach and visibility
Manage advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for performance and ROI
Support marketing initiatives designed to increase patient inquiries and brand awareness
YouTube Management
Upload and manage videos on the practice's YouTube channel
Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to improve discoverability
Repurpose video content across social platforms to increase reach and engagement
Strategically link video content across social channels to drive additional traffic
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and audience growth Monitor advertising performance and optimize campaigns based on data insights
Provide performance reporting and insights to both corporate marketing and practice leadership
Recommend improvements to content and marketing strategy based on analytics and industry trends
Qualifications
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, videography, and photography
Experience in aesthetics, plastic surgery, beauty, or medical marketing preferred
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement strategies
Experience managing social media advertising campaigns
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms
Experience using analytics tools such as Meta Insights, TikTok analytics, or Google Analytics
Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
Work Environment
Hybrid role requiring in‑office presence in the Newport News and Williamsburg locations for content capture
Flexible schedule based on content needs, procedures, and campaign timelines
