About Insomniac Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. With state‑of‑the‑art lighting, pyrotechnics, sound design, theatrical performers and next‑generation special effects, our events captivate the senses and inspire fan interaction. We produce 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe, including the world’s largest dance music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas.
Position Director, Business Management Reporting – reports directly to the VP, Finance and leads a team of Finance Managers in a hybrid location.
Responsibilities
Oversee corporate reporting and consolidation, including presentation of departmental forecasts and preparation of annual operating plans
Drive finance initiatives to improve operating efficiency and growth
Prepare presentations and ad‑hoc analyses for senior management and stakeholders
Provide monthly financial and operational forecasts, including variance analysis
Ensure regular meetings with management and production staff are effective in reviewing results
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
9+ years of project or cost accounting experience (or similar financial experience), preferably in the entertainment industry
6+ years of management experience, including developing and leading teams and optimizing organizational structure
Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience in consolidation and planning products; OneStream knowledge preferred
Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes within a large public company
Work Environment
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
May work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required to meet deadlines
