Job Title UX Content Spec/Strategist

Pay $55–$60 per hour (rate negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors).

Location 200 S 6th St, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55402 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week).

Responsibilities

Translate business, contractual, technical, and user needs into end‑to‑end content experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and compliant.

Design omni‑channel content experiences that help customers meet their goals, are empathetic, easy to use, improve satisfaction, and drive product adoption.

Deliver content validated through experimentation, testing, and optimization.

Leverage human‑centered design methods (design‑thinking, service design, research/insights) to plan, create, and present persuasive, engaging, and strategic ideas that influence product roadmaps and demonstrate potential for success.

Perform competitive analysis and monitor the marketplace for new trends to inform the research and design process.

Create and maintain content design within an agile environment, championing integration across the entire release cycle.

Conform with reusability standards by leveraging or expanding the Design System, brand tone, voice guidelines, and platform capabilities.

Manage product performance goals across enterprise users (e.g., outcomes, customer experience).

Collaborate with design peers and stakeholders (Marketing, Brand, CX, etc.) to ensure artifacts accurately represent and align with the client’s brand and create interconnectivity across customer, client, and employee touchpoints.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Content strategy, UX writing, storytelling, vision and planning, design thinking, and user‑centered content design.

Channel alignment and management, customer experience research, insight and execution, performance measurement and optimization, marketing and analytics.

Deep understanding of target customers through research, personas, story maps, and product chartering/mapping.

Strong collaboration with product managers, software engineers, and Agile teams to execute product vision and roadmap.

Facilitation of cross‑functional human‑centered design sessions to build empathy, identify pain points, and generate continuous improvements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

About the Team The Content Experience Designers are a diverse and dynamic group of UX writers, storytellers, strategists, and information architects dedicated to improving customer experiences through research‑driven, human‑centered design. We collaborate closely with product managers and marketers to create cohesive, impactful digital experiences, embedding content design early in the process to elevate overall user experience.
