Digital Designer
Informatic Technologies, Inc., Chicago, IL, United States
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, "digital-first" Designer to join our evolving Product Marketing team at Client. This isn't just another design production role; we are looking for a creative engineer — someone who blends world-class visual design with technical curiosity and a ready-to-build attitude. You will partner directly with a Senior Designer to ideate, build and launch complex marketing campaigns and high-performing UI experiences. You are a go-getter who doesn't just wait for a brief; you seek to understand our products and the "why" behind our strategy to build better visual solutions.
Key Responsibilities End-to-end campaign execution:
Partner with a Senior Designer to translate marketing strategies into visual concepts. You will own the execution of these concepts across all digital touchpoints (web, social, email, display). Systemic UI engineering:
You’ll combine high-fidelity UI design with advanced Figma architecture — using auto-layout, variables and prototyping — to create responsive, accessible web pages and product experiences. Help build and maintain our design libraries and interactive prototypes, ensuring our design-to-delivery pipeline — including motion assets — is sophisticated, scalable and dev-ready. Motion & interaction design:
Proactively suggest and execute motion-based deliverables. You will design with movement to convey ideas and drive engagement, including web-ready animations (e.g., Lottie/JSON) that ensure clever site experiences and developer-friendly implementation. Creative ownership:
Take the seed of an idea and turn it into multiple viable concepts without needing ample creative oversight. Proactive collaboration:
You’ll interface directly with Copywriters, Marketing Managers, Front-end Web Developers and other technologists. You are expected to speak up, share ideas and articulate your design decision aligned to marketing strategies. AI-driven workflows:
You’re excited to experiment with and implement AI tools that increase creativity, automate repetitive tasks and potentially build custom templates or tools that make the team's delivery more efficient. Brand interpretation:
Act as a brand steward who isn’t afraid to push boundaries. You use the Clients brand guidelines as a foundation to build upon, not a ceiling, while staying true to who we are. Skills & Requirements Portfolio excellence:
A strong portfolio showcasing high-end UI design, digital campaign work and sophisticated web-based motion (Lottie, interactive prototypes, etc.). The tech stack:
Expert-level in Figma (components, variables, auto-layout); mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe After Effects for web-optimized animation. UX/UI instincts:
You design with the user in mind, understanding how layout, interaction and motion affect conversion and user flow. An engineer mindset:
You thrive in an environment where you are expected to take initiative, independently seek out information to bridge design and dev.
