Lead Carpenters / Assistant Superintendents
for projects located in or around
Gahanna, OH . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $30–$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities
Oversee all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through project completion Coordinate and manage subcontractors and self‑perform crews (excavation, utilities, concrete, carpentry) Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget Maintain a safe and compliant job site at all times Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules Conduct daily site inspections and manage quality control Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Strong background in retail, food service, multi‑tenant, or light commercial projects preferred OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety Experience managing self‑perform work highly valued Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field teams Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Benefits
