Construction Superintendent

Pasadena, MD (Regional Travel required)
Company Overview A well-established commercial construction firm specializing in fast-paced retail and distribution buildouts is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent. With a strong project pipeline and a collaborative project management team, the organization offers consistent work, hands-on leadership opportunities, and the ability to make a direct impact on project success. This role will be supporting the Mid-Atlantic region requiring travel across VA, MD, PA, DE, NJ, and NY.
Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and inspections across multiple trades
Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure timely delivery
Enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers and stakeholders
Supervise and support a small field team
Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout materials
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating inspections on active job sites
Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
OSHA 30 certification required
PMP Certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000–$130,000 (depending on experience)
Car allowance, gas card, and toll coverage
