About the role Play a critical role in building and scaling T1D Exchange’s marketing infrastructure to support business development and organizational growth. This individual will serve as the primary owner of HubSpot, leading efforts to optimize CRM functionality, improve lead management processes, and develop reporting frameworks that connect marketing efforts to pipeline impact to help Business Development secure custom research and real-world evidence projects, primarily with medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
This role is ideal for someone who is both analytical and systems-oriented, with a passion for turning data into actionable insights and building processes that improve team efficiency. The Marketing Operations Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing, with a dotted-line relationship to the Business Development team to support alignment on lead management, pipeline tracking, and revenue-driving initiatives.
What you’ll do
Build and manage CRM infrastructure, partnering with Business Development to improve lead scoring, contact management, and pipeline visibility
Build and enrich company and contact profiles, identifying key target accounts and stakeholders to support outreach and engagement strategies, and contribute to targeted outbound outreach to drive initial engagement
Assist with proposal development and marketing materials as needed to support business development efforts
Own and optimize HubSpot as the organization’s primary marketing automation and CRM platform, including workflows, lifecycle stages, segmentation, and data hygiene
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that track performance across key marketing channels, including website, email, and social
Support inbound marketing efforts by ensuring proper tracking, attribution, and lead flow from campaigns to the BD team
Collaborate with Marketing and BD teams to align on campaign execution, lead handoff processes, and performance measurement
Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation or AI-driven solutions to increase team efficiency
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a related role
Hands‑on experience with HubSpot, including building workflows, managing data, and creating reports
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
Experience working with CRM systems and understanding of lead lifecycle management and pipeline processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or mission‑driven organization is a plus
Salary Range: $60,000 – 80,000 USD per year
