Collision Repair Estimator (Customer & Insurance Focused)
Tom Wood Collision is a high-performing, OEM‑certified collision repair facility in Indianapolis seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. With over 20 manufacturer certifications and a commitment to proper repairs, we focus on quality, safety, and customer experience—where precision and quality aren’t negotiable.
This role is
not a traditional estimating position . Our team utilizes dedicated Blueprinters, allowing Estimators to focus on
customer communication, insurance coordination, and repair process management .
What You’ll Do
Guide customers through the repair process from start to finish
Communicate with insurance companies to ensure proper repair approvals
Manage expectations, timelines, and updates for customers
Advocate for safe, OEM‑compliant repairs
Build strong relationships with customers and insurance partners
What We’re Looking For
Experience in collision repair, automotive, or a related field (1+ year preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to negotiate and problem‑solve with insurance companies
Organized, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused mindset
Background in parts, service, or estimating is a plus
