Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field
• 8+ years in manufacturing or operations environments
• 5+ years leading or supporting Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives
• Experience supporting multi‑site operations
• Strong working knowledge of Lean, CI, and Operational Excellence methodologies
• Experience in durable goods manufacturing or related industries (HVAC preferred)
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority
• Demonstrated success driving waste reduction, process stability, and enterprise‑level improvements
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Experience facilitating workshops, improvement events, and structured problem‑solving activities (Kaizen, Gemba, PDCA, A3, and DMAIC)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage leaders, supervisors, and frontline teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Green Belt, Black Belt, or Six Sigma certifications
• Experience hiring, coaching, and evaluating CI practitioners
• Working knowledge of financial concepts and cost drivers (P&L exposure helpful)
• Additional Lean or Operational Excellence certifications
Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead enterprise‑level Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across all five manufacturing sites. This leader will partner closely with senior operations leadership and cross‑functional teams to deploy CI strategy, strengthen problem‑solving capability, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
