Marketing Project Manager
Foundation Software, a rapidly growing and nationally recognized provider of construction software/services, is seeking a Project Manager to join our incredibly talented Marketing team.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing various project plans and timelines associated with work undertaken by the company's Marketing Department.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Marketing PMO Manager, the VP of Marketing, marketing team members, and other departmental managers/staff to build and track individual project plans, coordinate the initiation of new projects, and report on the progress of project teams against targeted milestones—from project initiation through completion. The Project Manager monitors workflow on a weekly and monthly basis, identifies areas of concern, and recommends solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as the lead for new marketing projects. Collect information and review requests with the President, VP of Marketing, Sales Director, and Sales/Marketing teams to assign/prioritize requests and initiatives.
Create detailed project plans and milestones and establish timelines and metrics that allow work to be completed according to defined requirements.
Track the progress of all open projects against milestones, and publish weekly updates to keep teams and leadership informed of the status of projects, identifying deviations from plan that could impact the successful on‑time completion.
Document changes in scope, deadlines and other factors that impact resources or timelines. Work proactively to identify issues that affect the team's progress or ability to meet specified milestones and/or objectives. Take actions to resolve issues within the team and escalated as appropriate to group managers.
Provide regular updates to project team and managers as specified by the plan (weekly, monthly, etc.) and ongoing analysis of results for weekly staff meetings.
Utilize post‑project surveys to assess the team's performance against the plan and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Coordinate updates to the company website structure with IT resources and external vendors. Publish latest content and graphics directly using the WordPress platform.
Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, project management, communications, or equivalent work experience.
The ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
Strong analytical and research abilities.
Highly creative with a desire to advance.
Elevated proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard applications.
Understanding of marketing tools and development processes.
Ability to prioritize effectively with multiple projects, tight deadlines, and work independently.
Collaborative with a positive attitude and solid collaborative skills.
Ability to translate data into helpful marketing insights.
