The Gardens of Millville is seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Environmental Services to oversee and manage all operations of our Environmental Services Department at our skilled nursing facility in Millville, PA.
This leadership role is critical to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, infection control, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise all
functions
of the Environmental Services Department
Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times
Verify that required equipment and supplies are available, properly maintained, and operational
Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
Enforce departmental policies, fire and disaster procedures, safety rules, and Universal Precautions
Lead, train, and support Environmental Services staff to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements
Maintain proper documentation, inspections, and maintenance records as required by regulatory agencies
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and cleanliness throughout the facility
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in environmental services, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred
Prior experience in a medical, skilled nursing, or long‑term care setting strongly preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
